Think of this as a "tool roll for your toys." The Volkl Race 4pair Ski Bag is a padded envelope style bag designed to accommodate 4 pairs of skis up to 230 cm in length, but rather than zipping shut like a conventional bag, and depending on compression straps to keep the load from shifting, this bag rolls up, like a tool roll, and then is secured by compression straps, for a four ski carry that is much less likely to shift in transit. It's an impressive design for those carrying a quiver of race sharpened skis and can't afford to have them shifting or bouncing around in transit. Three wrap around compression straps with easy snap buckles secure the roll for a trim design. This bag is designed for in-vehicle carry, it lacks the structure (or wheels) you'd want for plane or train travel, but for what it is designed to do, it is most effective. In a hatchback or longbed this can be laid flat on the floor allowing you to slide skis into a secure pocket, protecting the car and other gear from sharp edges. It's a unique design in ski portage that fits a niche for those traveling to and from race day in a private car where you want to protect the car, the skis, and the other gear, from the edges you need to make your way into the winners' circle.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
