Vintage Set of 4 Mid-Century 7” Danish Silver Candlesticks Hugo Grun Hallmarked

Vintage Set of Mid Century 7” Scandinavian Made, Hallmarked Candle Sticks. I believe the three towers hallmark indicates that they are certified at least 82.6% silver by the nation of Denmark. "Sterling" silver is 92.5%, by comparison. Two of them bear the inscription 2/12 1896 - 1956. I believe these were purchased for my grandfather's 60th birthday. It's possible the other two were added later on to round out the set. The ones that are thus inscribed are tinted slightly darker with tarnish. All could use a good polishing, unless patina is more your thing. Each is about 7 inches tall . The bases are about 4 1/2 inches wide. Each example weighs approximately 1 lbs. 2 oz, give or take 1/2 an oz in variability. The bases are weighted. The first shot of two bottoms is of the ones with the anniversary/ birthday inscription. On the other two, the felt is a little lighter, more wrinkled, and has fallen off of one. Also, there's a little green oxidation topside on that example.
These were informally appraised at 00 for the set a couple of years ago, when silver was lower, by a dealer visiting town, who was interested in purchasing them for his store. This was based on the marks. We'd forgotten when we posted this what company he said they indicated, but a little research turned up an identical pair by Hugo Grun, including the HGr or HGy hallmark. Anyway, the dealer considered these collectible in the United States as well Scandinavia, and therefore was willing to offer us about half the quoted amount as a wholesale price so he could resell them, whereas he only considered some other silver items we had worth the meltdown value, outside of Scandinavia at least. The others I saw were asking 0 for just a pair, in line with the dealer's retail estimate. Given all that, we think they're still a good deal at 0 for someone who wants to keep them, but are willing to entertain offers. Shipping will include insurance for the purchase price.
