    Britisher Danny Kaye was a huge star in the forties and fifties, but by the early sixties his movie fame had declined and he had moved into the occasiona TV special. Multi-talented, he could sing and dance. And mug. His comic persona was not quite like anyone else, alternately effete and bold. He emerged into film fame at the hand of Samuel Goldwyn with whom he signed a contact. UP IN ARMS is typical wartime spirit-lifting. And some of the heavy lifting here is done by Dinah Shore, who also later became more famous for TV than film. Very Fine Condition.
