Shipping:
Review the shipping charge and bid appropriately knowing that the shipping cost is part of your TOTAL cost of winning.
I don’t get a deal from the USPS, I pay the same rates as everyone else.
a)
Rate
:
I state a
flat rate
and you see this before you bid. If you win, you pay the shipping cost as stated plus your winning bid.
I am frankly not interested in what YOU think I should charge for shipping. I state the cost upfront so you know what it is.
If you feel the shipping charge is not a cost you are comfortable paying, then please bid elsewhere.
I don’t spend my time meticulously weighing and measuring packages before shipping.
I make a good faith effort to charge enough to ensure I cover my costs which include:

Shipping anywhere in the continental
U.S.

USPS insurance, tracking and/or Signature confirmation
o
Roughly 13% combined commissions that Paypal & eBay keep.
Yes, 13% of the shipping charge goes to eBay & PayPal; not the seller.

Packing materials which I sometimes have to buy
If I underestimate the actual shipping cost, which sometimes happens, I will cover the additional charge.
Alternatively, please do not send me a post auction email complaining, “Why did you charge for shipping when the actual cost was only .50?”
If this is typical of your buying habits, I would respectively encourage you to bid elsewhere.

Combined shipping:
Inquire before bidding.
I am happy to combine shipping on
smaller lightweight items
, but if you do not take the time to communicate with me prior to the close of an auction, then assume you will pay the shipping costs as stated for each item.
Combined shipping and packaging is at MY discretion and I will not
debate
shipping costs AFTER an auction closes.
For combined shipping, I typically charge full shipping on the item with the highest stated shipping and 50% on the remaining items.
I may not be able combine shipping on larger items.

Shipping Time:
I ship items once midweek as my work schedule allows, usually Wednesday but not always, and on Saturday. If shipping time is critical on your item contact me before you bid.
I am also a buyer on ebay and like my purchases shipped timely as well, however, in addition to a family; I have a 40+ hour a week real job that occasionally requires travel away from home for a night or two, which can delay shipping by a day or two.
I am not in control of delivery time after I drop items off at the post office.
Most items to the West coast are shipped Parcel post as it is less expensive and saves you money, items shipped closer to where I live may be shipped Priority as it is sometimes the same price as Parcel.
Parcel Post can take 7-10 days for delivery, after being dropped off.
Please note: I am not a business, I do not have a "shipping department", I am one person selling my collectibles.

Insurance and Signature confirmation:
I will include USPS insurance on most items over 0.
I often ship higher priced items requiring your signature upon delivery.
Particularly for signature confirmation items, I would ask you to inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
If there is any damage due to shipping please address this with the postal carrier at the time of delivery.
For items that are insured, any issues with item damage due to shipping will be resolved via the USPS.

Your shipping address:
Items will only be shipped to the address on the PAYPAL details transaction page.
Please make sure your PayPal address is correct.
I am NOT responsible for additional shipping costs if your address is not correct on Paypal and your item is mailed to an incorrect address.

Feedback
:
I have been an eBay’er since 1999 and have positive feedback as a fair and trustworthy seller and buyer. I will leave feedback for buyers after you have left feedback for me.
Please contact me before leaving negative feed back; I will do my best to resolve any legitimate and reasonable issues.
I appreciate your positive feedback, and will do what I can to work out any reasonable concerns regarding your purchase, but any abusive or threatening correspondence will be immediately reported to Ebay and our conversation is over.

Item condition
:
The item pictured is the actual item you will receive.
I strive to describe my items and their condition accurately and honestly.
Many of the items I am selling are vintage and will show some signs of age.
I will often offer my opinion of condition, but my idea of "very nice” might be different than yours; USE THE PICTURES AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF.
There is no such thing as perfect, even “Mint” items will have a flaw if you look hard enough. I will state any noticeable flaws that I see, but I'm not holdings items under a spotlight and a magnifying glass.
I will not debate the definition of “scuff", "scrape", "scratch", "ding”, ect.
Particularly with books and magazines, many are in very nice condition, but I cannot inspect and describe EVERY page in every comic and magazine that I sell, so there is no guarantee or promise of condition for every single inch of each book.
Many items I sell are still sealed in the packaging and there are absolutely no guarantees about condition for these items beyond what I can see and describe from the unopened package.
This applies particularly to items with electronics.
If something has electronics, but is sealed, I cannot test it and these are sold as it.
There is also a chance that I simply may miss a small flaw, this is not intentional, I am not perfect. If you have any concerns or questions about my items, please ask questions first or don't bid.

Bidders
with less than 10 feedbacks please email before bidding.
Most of my problem transactions are coming from inexperienced bidders with little or no feedback and I would like to hear from you first.

I usually check my email a couple times a day, usually morning and evening.
I am not in front of my computer 24 hours a day, so if you are need of a response, please don’t wait until the last minute to contact me.
8.
Returns
:
I do not accept returns.
If you have a concern, after you win or receive your item, please contact me to discuss, but know that returns are something that will likely not happen.
There are too many people with buyer’s remorse and I cannot accept returns because of this reason.
I truly am sorry for the exhaustive (blah,blah,blah) disclaimer but I have been buying and selling on ebay for well over 10 years and I've discovered that there are many sensitive, sometimes immature, and even dishonest people out there so I am writing all this stuff so there is no room for hurt feelings,
disappointment or misunderstanding.
I strive to make every transaction easy and enjoyable and I trust that these simple steps will make our experience a positive one.
