This listing is for a lovely Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver small footed salver/tray with Georgian piecrust border
.
This nice salver is decorated with only a fancy 3-letter monogram "K E L" in the center and the beautiful fluted Georgian piecrust border. Marked "Tiffany & Co., 18840 Makers 668, Sterling Silver, 925/1000, m". This Tiffany mark was used from 1907-1947 during the directorship of John C. Moore II. This beautiful salver was made by Tiffany as a copy of an 18th Century London silver salver and is also marked "Reproduction, Original Made by Robert Abercromby, London , 1784". Robert Abercromby was a London silversmith who worked during the mid-18th Century and made high quality silver items.
Tray measures 6 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 300 grams.
Tray is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws other than reflecting minor signs of normal wear.
