This auction is for an original 27"x41" movie poster for The Lost Weekend from 1945 starring Ray Milland and Jane Wyman.  This film won several Academy Awards including the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Actor for Ray Milland, Best Director for Billy Wilder, Best Writing Screenplay and Best Musical Score for Miklos Rozsa.  It also won Best Actor and Grand Prize of the Festival at the Cannes Film Festival in 1946.  The poster is in beautiful condition having been linenbacked and is ready for framing and display.  The colors are vibrant and the artwork very nice.  It doesn't come up often at auction and it would be a welcomed addition to any collection.   This Item is shipped well packaged and includes insurance.
