Descriptions:
One newly rooted grapevine, similar to the vines shown in the first 2 pictures above (at random), to be shipped in bare root. If you plant it soon after receiving, it should take off and grow very fast for you
Condition:
Healthy and vigorous. They are 6 to 12 inches in height right now, and are growing taller daily
Varieties:
Crimson. It grows well in our zone 8 area. Not only the grapes are red, the new growth of the vines are reddish also. This is the best looking vine out of all the different varieties we have in our yard. Each year, we harvest a lot of large size, oval shape, seedless table grapes from this vine. Crimson is a late harvest variety. We also carry early harvest varieties. In between these varieties, we get almost 5 months of endless fresh grapes from our own yard. When we have extra grapes that we can not consume right away, we dry them under the sun to make home made raisins. Sweet, meaty and tasty, we love to share these wonderful vines with you
Details:
These siblings are grown from cuttings from a large vine (shown in one of the picture above). They should start to produce some grapes next year. By the third year, they will produce heavy crops thereafter
Please Note:
I will dig out plants in same day when ship them. The roots will be wrapped in moist paper and plastic in the shipping box.
Bare root plants are normally dehydrated during the shipping. The leaves might wilt already. Depending on the condition, you might want to soak the vines in fresh water for a few hours or overnight before planting. I will trim most of the branches before shipping to increase the survival rate (the vine you receive will be less than 12" total in length).
The full grown, grape bearing vine shown in the last couple pictures above is the mother bush. It covers our 6 feet tall chain link fence more than 20 feet wide every summer (after we prune it back to its main trunk each winter).
