This Hot Surface Ignitor is a heavy duty replacement for the standard more fragile PP200 and HA1000. The PP200SC is made from special Silicon Nitride compound for heavy duty extended life.
Check the fuse on the printed circuit board, many times they will blow when the HSI fails
