    Description

This listing is for 5 seeds/babies/chicks from the rare Mexican Hat Plant/Mother of Thousands. This variety differs from the more common
Kalanchoe Daigremontiana and has bigger, broader leaves and a brighter solid green color. This genus is considered rare in the exotic succulent/cactus collection.
    Mexican Hat Plant,
    Kalanchoe Laetivirens:
    ‘Mother of Thousands’
Kalanchoe Laetivirens is a species of Kalanchoe in the
Bryophyllum family, commonly called Devil’s Backbone, Mother of Thousands, Alligator Plant, or Mexican hat plant. It is a succulent plant native to Madagascar. Like other members of its genus Bryophyllum, it is able to propagate vegetatively from plantlets/chicks/seeds that develop on its leaves. They are variable in size, color and shape.
These plants are nice outdoors and indoors. When mature, they will have a nice cluster of bell shaped pink blooms.
These plants are great for beginners or those without a green thumb. They are super easy and fun.
Requiring minimal care, these plants can tolerate high temperatures as well as frequent drought or occasional neglect.
Zone: Can be planted outdoors in zones 9b and warmer; in colder climates, these make wonderful container plants that can be set out on a patio or deck in the warm summer months, but will need to be brought in to prevent freezing in the winter.
You will receive at least 5-10 seeds/babies/chicks. Just poke them all in a couple inches of well draining soil in a pot or the ground, water, and they will take off. Just make sure it has proper drainage as you can over water them.
