PAIR Vintage DUCHIN Sterling Silver 5-Light Candelabra.

For sale is a pair of vintage weighted sterling silver five light candelabra
made by Maurice Duchin Creations Inc.  The Duchin Silver Company was
an American firm, located in New York City that started operation sometime
around 1944.  They made their candlesticks of sterling silver weighted with
lead (instead of cement) to make them more stable.  Later was known as
Maurice Duchin Creations Inc. It is reported the hand in their logo represented
family member Eddy Duchin, a pianist and bandleader (his son Peter was also
a pianist).
Dimensions: 9-5/8" tall by 10" across; center candle stand 6-5/8" high w/ 3-1/2"
base diameter.  Made of sterling silver (weighted) with a combined weight of
1,428 grams.
This pair is in really nice used condition, good surface patina, no bent arms, just
a few tiny dings around the edge of the bases.  No monograms.
