    Description

    A family that lived in Sumatra pre World War II asked me to sell several items they picked up there.
    Offered here is a hand carved bone piece of a graduated herd of elephants.
    2 5/8 inches long.
    One side has a small hole in the lead and last elephants.  This may have been a pin or a hair slide at one time.
    The bottom has a slight arch as if they are walking across a bridge.
