These are very important set of  4 very rare English sterling circa 1773 Georgian(George III) .The design are exceptional .Each in the form of a cluster fluted  column with a corinthian capital on a bead ornamented  plinth on square bases with angled gadrooned borders .On 3 sides of the each  candlesticks base is the face od a masked devil  with  elegant details on the columns..All the pieces are in excellent condition for its age.The stamps reads: "IC" that means :(Maker is famous silversmith :John Cramer )-Lion-Leopard head(Means city of London-letter "S" (Means it belongs to circa 1773).Also all removable nozzles  has stamps of :"Lion" and letters of the maker:"IC".All have good weigh and gorgeous hand-chased design all over.The pieces are weighted .The heights measures of each candlesticks measures about:12.75" and the base is:5" by 5".For a similar one set of 2 only please look at Sotheby's auction London 18 November 2008 lot number 356.This set has been obtained from an famous estate of a lady in Beverly Hills California.
