    When Ralph Byrd took a break from the role of America's Greatest Lawman following several serials, Morgan Conway stepped into the yellow overcoat briefly as Chester Gould's square-jawed detective, first in this entry and then in Dick Tracy vs. Cueball (1946). After escaping from prison, Splitface (Mike Mazurki) begins tracking down and slaughtering the members of the jury who convicted him, until Tracy tracks him to a deserted riverboat for a final showdown. The dramatic one sheet offered here has bene professionally linen backed.
