    Original MGM Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Richard Thorpe musical comedy, A DATE WITH JUDY (1948) starring Wallace Berry, Jane Powell, Elizabeth Taylor, and Carmen Miranda. Adapted from a popular radio drama began in 1941, hyperactive Judy (Powell) challenges and is challenged by nearly everybody around her. A 15-year-old Taylor plays Judy's "progressive" friend in the first of her snobby, rich-girl roles. The film has been described as a "riot" of charm, song, wit, and dazzling color. This original three sheet poster is folded and in good condition-- with some wrinkling, stresses, separations, and tears (one major) at the fold lines. This poster would be a great candidate for restoration. This poster was clearly theater-used. It dates from 1948. It is the vintage, authentic poster for this film, we guarantee it!
