SENSI-CARE STING FREE SKIN ADHESIVE RELEASER is a silicone-based spray to assist with gentle removal of adhesives applied to the skin for medical applications. The Sensi-Care brand is specially designed to be extra sensitive to the skin for painless removal of an ostomy skin barriers. Especially formulated to protect thin, delicate or newly healed skin from tearing when appliance is removed.
It works by applying the releaser between the skin and ostomy appliance, adding a layer of silicone to start gentle lifting. Adhesive will begin to fall off and then quickly evaporate. This aids in removal and leaves a clean surface to reapply new adhesive. Sensi-Care Adhesive Remover Spray effectively removes dressing while minimizing patient trauma.
