from the estate of someone who worked either for Chesterfield or for the printing company who did their advertising, possibly a salesman sample or printer sample
paper poster sign--not on cardboard, size approx 21 x 22", see yardstick in the photos, promotes William Bendix in the title role of the "Babe Ruth Story" 1948 by Allied Artists
--this appears to have never seen the light of day, unusually rich vibrant colors, gloss, high grade condition with some minor technical defects, even if you have been collecting for a long time, I doubt you will ever have seen one of these Chesterfield signs in this good of condition, looks to be "hot off the presses"
astounding condition and way better to look at than the actual movie itself ! Very minor wear, maybe the worst being the small edge nick out of the lower left side, with also some edge discoloration and minor wear......I cannot imagine a better example existing or one even one close to this !
