Our starter trees are allowed to freely grow to produce a good size trunk and then cut back to build taper and character. Our starters are in prime health and ready to be potted up or root pruned and began to be worked as bonsai. We recommend you pot the tree in a free draining nursery grade soil mix in a one gallon container and allow the tree to get established. This is will guarantee that when the tree is worked on it will respond very well. For bonsai in development daily watering and aggressive feeding will help produce a big trunk the fastest.
Tree comes with a basic care sheet.
Trees may ship with fewer leaves due to pruning maintenance. Trees will ship completely bare in Winter as they drop their leaves.
