    is designed for out of circuit use in continuous flow techniques of inhalation anesthesia.
    The vaporizer is temperature, flow and pressure compensated so that its output remains relatively constant
    despite cooling due to evaporation,
    variations in inlet flow and fluctuating pressures
    If the vaporizer has been inverted, connect it to a gas scavenging system, set the dial to 5% and purge the vaporizer with the carrier at 5 liters/minute for 5 minutes
