Antique Tiny 3.75” all Bisque Baby Bylo-type Doll stamped Japan
This teeny tiny little baby doll was in my husband's grandmother's collection.
Its head and body are all one piece and all parts of the body are made of bisque.
The upper back is stamped “Japan” in black.
The body is 3-3/4” long and the head circumference is also 3-3/4”.
The strings are loose so the body is a bit floppy.
There are a lot of scuff marks and chips on the back and at the back of the left knee (as pictured) but no hairlines or cracks were found.
The little shirt top is sewn on at the neck so it was not removed, but the little bonnet and undies are removable.
Its last three homes in our family have been non-smoking; no odor.
