Description
Before you buy a new motor, make sure your motor is bad. Many people buy new motors because the fan won't turn.
The fan may not turn due to
a stuck or broken air pump rotor.
Take the filter housing and metal plate off of the back
of the motor. If the black disc
with 4 slots(rotor) is stuck or broken, remove it. Turn the fan. If it moves, the motor is probably ok.
Make sure this isn't your problem before buying a new motor.
This motor was used in Dyna Glo, Dura Heat, Dayton
170-180K btu oil fired heaters.
