    This is a very rewarding tree to grow, very forgiving and easy to propagate. It is fast growing and fruits fairly quickly once it gets established. The new wood that I send out roots readily.
    Not only is it a prolific fruiting tree but the leaves and fruits are also packed with nutrients and antioxidants.
    The fruits are high in anthocyanins which are potent cancer fighting compounds. Great also for wildlife - I personally use them as a feeder plant for my rabbits.
    The tree lends itself well to pruning and you should be able to keep it short enough to easily harvest the fruits.
