    Description

Convallaria majalis, Lily of the Valley, Is a perennial plant, coming up year after year. It spreads rapidly by underground stems called rhizomes. Upright shoots are formed at the ends of stolons in summer. These upright dormant stems are often called pips. The stems grow 6-12 inches tall, with 1 or 2 leaves.
The flowers have 6 white tepals, and form a bell shape. They are sweetly scented, and flower in the late spring. If the winter has been mild, it can be as early as the beginning of March. The fruit is a small orange-red berry, containing a few seeds.
    Shipped with USPS.
Ready to Plant! March-April, bare root pips; May, bare root plants with leaves and flowers when in bloom; June until fall, bare root plants with lor without eaves. Often leaves dont make it in the mail, do to their delicate stalk and lack of water. Just cut them off and plant them for a beautiful return next year!
Will tolerate all soil types including acidic, clay, loamy and sandy soils.
Naturalizes readily, creating a dense, low-maintenance ground cover that few weeds can infiltrate. Can also be used on slopes to control erosion. No pruning or winter care needed. Deer and rabbit resistant.
You should always put plants in the ground asap. If your plants look wilted due to shipping you can wet the medium or soak the roots for a few hours before planting and keep well watered for a week. If any problems are noted upon item arrival, please contact me within 48 hours with pictures. I will not accept returns, give refunds or replace plants more than 7 days past delivery date.
Do not leave cuttings or plants in a mailbox or other area unprotected from the elements.  On hot days they will dry out and may die, and on cold days they may freeze. Tops may be wilted from shipping, spray or re-wet roots and medium when they arrive and plant as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE I will ship year round, but they are best planted in soil that will not re-freeze again during the next few months. 60 to 85 degree daytime temps. are best. However, they are relatively hardy and will tolerate some neglect.
I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE PLANTS!
The more you buy the cheaper it is per plant!
