This Prickly Pear Cactus Plant is very healthy without roots fresh cut pad when ordered.  Easily rooted by placing in moist soil.  Grows root system first and once established plant with take off quiet rapidly.
They do very well in the heat or cold & don't need much water.
Their color turns light purple in the winter & spring time and are a lot more blue green in the summer, see picts
. They produce large bright yellow flowers in season and have hundreds of tiny thorns.
They may have a scar from a previously removed pad, but this will heal and be hard to even notice after time.
